Hello, I'm Melanie — the heart and hands behind Piggymac Creations.
Welcome! I'm so glad you found your way here. Piggymac Creations is a small, handmade business born out of a deep love for resin art and a desire to create beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces that bring joy to everyday life.
Based in Eastern Heights, Queensland, Australia, every item in my shop is lovingly crafted by me — from the first pour to the final polish.
How It All Started
Like many creative journeys, mine began with curiosity and a little bit of magic. I discovered resin art and was instantly captivated by the way colours swirl, shimmer, and set into something truly unique. No two pieces are ever exactly alike — and that's what I love most about it.
What started as a passion project quickly grew into something I couldn't stop sharing. Friends and family fell in love with the pieces, and Piggymac Creations was born.
The Handmade Process
Each piece begins with carefully selected pigments, glitters, and inclusions — chosen to create a specific mood, colour palette, or effect. I mix, layer, and manipulate the resin by hand, watching as each piece takes on a life of its own.
After curing, every item is sanded, polished, and finished to a beautiful, smooth result. It's a labour of love that can take anywhere from a day to several days depending on the piece — and I wouldn't have it any other way.
